Carpets in public areas should be vacuumed using vacuum equipment with a rotating pile vibrator for daily cleaning. Starting from the day the carpet is used, it must be vacuumed completely every day. There must be no thinking of fully vacuuming tomorrow. Therefore, new carpets should be vacuumed twice a day, sooner or later once each, and the floating phenomenon can be eliminated after one month.

There are two fundamental methods for carpet cleaning: dry cleaning and wet cleaning. (1) Dry cleaning

There are two ways to dry clean carpets:

Foam dry cleaning

It is the most popular foam cleaning for carpet surface. The foam dry cleaning machine uses a rotary brush and an implantable wet vacuum suction head to spray a lot of detergent on the carpet surface pile. Under the action of the tumbling brush, the detergent will clean the pile and then use a vacuum suction machine to remove foam and suspended dust.

Dry extraction and removal method

This method involves manually spraying a mixture of solvents, emulsifiers, water, and cleaning agents onto the surface of the carpet through a distribution container, and then using a cleaning device to brush them into the carpet pile for a 30 minute rotating wash before removing the cleaning agent and dust.

Dry cleaning belongs to exterior cleaning, which can effectively restore and clean the surface of carpets, but it does not remove the dust and dirt hidden deep inside the carpet. It is completely necessary to clean it.

(2) Wet washing

When the oil stains and other sticky substances on the carpet are significantly concentrated, and the accumulation of dust and dirt has affected the color and rebound function of the carpet pile, and the dry cleaning method cannot remove it, the carpet should be wet washed, that is, completely cleaned.

There are two ways to wet wash carpets:

Spray suction cleaning method

This method involves spraying hot water and cleaning agent onto the carpet under pressure, and using a carpet cleaning equipment equipped with a rotating or oscillating brush to separate the dust and dirt from the fibers and absorb them under the action of the water and cleaning agent.

Steam cleaning method

This is a carpet cleaning method that effectively removes dirt embedded in the carpet pile and dirt on the surface of the carpet, making it the most complete way to clean the carpet. Also known as extraction cleaning method. A steam solvent composed of a mixture of water and cleaning solution released by a specially designed steam dry cleaning carpet machine is sprayed onto the carpet, and then stirred by a mechanical swing brush to remove dust and dirt from the carpet fibers and suspend them in the solvent, which is then removed by an implanted vacuum suction head.
